NATICK – The Town of Natick, along with the City of Framingham, are both now advertising for Directors of Public Health.

The Town of Natick is seeking highly qualified candidates for the full-time position of Director of Public Health.

The position is responsible for administration, managerial, technical and inspectional work related to enforcement of Public and Environmental Health Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.

The starting salary will range from $95,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of work experience in the field of public/environmental health, 2 years of which should have been in a supervisory position; preferably in public health municipal management in Massachusetts.

The Natick Director of Public Health: works in conjunction with the Town Administration and under the policy direction of the Board of Health.  

The director supervises a staff of eight full-time employees, one and one half grant funded positions, and a part-time food consultant.  

Applicants are required to have a Massachusetts Certification as a Registered Sanitarian or National Environmental Health Association Certification as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian, Certified Title V Soil Evaluator
