FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham released an update on its COVID-19 equity initiative, today, July 28.

Last week, vaccinations were provided at the Framingham Public Health Nursing Office, Arlington Street Park, Temple Street Park, Framingham High School, Roosevelt Park, Glen Haven Academy, Danforth Park, and home visits.

Since Wednesday, March 24, 5,738 vaccinations (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson) have been administered under the Equity Initiative.

The City of Framingham said the percentage of Framingham residents who are fully vaccinated is 65.6%, exceeding many of the state-wide benchmarks.

Those who have received dose one of Moderna and Pfizer have been invited to return for a second dose at the same community site to become fully vaccinated.

To request a home visit, please call the City’s Public Health Nursing Office at 508-532-5667. Leave your name, phone number, and address, and someone will return your call within 36 hours.
