FRAMINGHAM – On the request of the City of Framingham Department of Public Works, the Framingham Traffic Commission voted unanimously on Tuesday, July 20, to prohibit parking near Beaver Dam Brook on Taralli Terrace in District 9.
Located on the southeast side of the City, Framingham DPW sought to prohibit parking along an 80-foot stretch of Taralli Terrace on the western side of the street.
Beaver Dam Brook runs through the area, and a trash gate is situated on Taralli Terace.
A lot of effort goes into trying to keep the water and trash gates clean, according to the City.
However, many issues regarding parked cars in the area have been encountered, making the cleaning process difficult, explained DPW.
Signs will be posted in the area that prohibit parking within the designated stretch of road, said the Commission.
