ASHLAND – The Ashland Public Library, Framingham Public Library, and the Hopkinton Public Library are partnershing to showcase local author talent this summer.

The Author Book Fair will be on Saturday, August 14 from 2-5pm at the Corner Spot in Ashland.

This event is weather dependent so let’s cross our fingers for sunny skies, said the libraries.

Interested authors should submit a form by July 17.

Individuals must be a published author to participate (self published is fine but your book(s) need to be out in the world), said the library.

This is limited to authors of books geared towards adults.

If this goes well, we will consider more ages for the next time, said the libraries.

Preference will be given to those living in Ashland, Framingham, & Hopkinton. If space is available, the libraries will allow participants from other towns.

There will be a “stage” at the Corner Spot where, if chosen to participate, authors can sign up for a 15 minute period to run a program – you could read from one of your books, do a short writing exercise, etc.
