FRAMINGHAM – The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Project Beacon drive-through COVID-19 testing site on Franklin Street in Framingham will close today at 2 p.m., due to project high winds, announced Senate President Karen Spilka on Twitter.

Any individual with an appointment scheduled today after 2 p.m. will receive a cancellation and be issued a credit to rebook an appointment.

The site will permanently close at Franklin Street on Sunday, May 2.

A new Project Beacon COVID testing site, which is free to all, will open at Framingham State University’s parking lot on Maple Street on May 7.
