FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) it will temporary close the Route 9 eastbound and westbound on-ramps overnight to Mass Pike westbound (exit 111/old exit 12) in Framingham.

The ramp closures will take place from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, through 5 a.m.. on Wednesday, April 28, and is needed to facilitate routine construction operations.

Traffic looking to access I-90 westbound will be directed to follow the detour signage in place.

Message boards, signs, traffic control devices, and law enforcement details will be used to guide drivers safely through the work zone. 

MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
