FRAMINGHAM – Some things haven’t changed during the pandemic and one of them is the support Jack’s Abby does for The WhyNotDevin Foundation To End DIPG.

“Jack’s Abby hosts a fundraiser for the month of November and December to benefit The WhyNotDevin Foundation to End DIPG. They donate a portion of their proceeds of all House Lager sales to our foundation. Their distributor Atlantic Beverage Distributors matches their efforts,” explained Christine Soutter, who son Devin died of DIPG in 2017.

“This year they raised $6,500. Which is incredible in such a difficult year,” said Soutter.

“Over the last three years they have raised $25.000. They also have partnered with us for Devin’s Dash for the last 2 years,” said Soutter. “We are so grateful for this partnership.”

“2020 was a challenging year but we couldn’t have gotten through it without the support from our community. Even with our challenges, it has remained a priority to us to continue helping our neighbors. As such, we’re really excited to be standing here today, donating a portion of our House Lager sales from November and December 2020 to Framingham-based WhyNotDevin to end DIPG for the third year in a row,” said Sam Hendler, co-owner of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers in Framingham.

The check was delivered to Soutter today, February 26.
