FRAMINGHAM – Interested in helping your community reduce energy use, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and protect the environment? Apply to serve as a member of the Framingham Sustainability Committee (FSC) and use your enthusiasm and experience to make the City a greener community!

The Committee is a nine-member advisory committee established to advise the Mayor on how to improve the sustainability of municipal operations as well as support residents and local businesses in reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, adopting renewables, conserving water, and much more.

To be successful in its mission, the City is seeking members with interest in sustainability issues or topics, a willingness to attend and actively participate in Committee meetings, and a desire to engage with their community.

Residents with demonstrable experience working with energy, waste, and recycling, green buildings, conservation, or other sustainability related fields are encouraged to apply. With one position dedicated to a resident between the ages of 16 and 25, youth members are also encouraged to apply.
