NATICK – In August 2019, Wayfair opened its first brick & mortar store at the Natick Mall.

In December 2020, that store will close.

Located on the first floor of the Natick Mall, Wayfair is a home furniture & furnishing store. The last day will be December 31 2020.

With the coronavirus pandemic, the company, which has a huge Internet presence, has decided to refine its physical retail strategy.

“Consumers can visit the Wayfair store for inspiration, select from hundreds of items available off-the-shelf, and shop Wayfair’s full catalog of 14 million products across every style and price point, all with the helpful support of trusted design consultants at every step. Whether completely redesigning a space or making decorative updates, the Wayfair store provides yet another way for our customers to seamlessly navigate the entire shopping experience for home – and make their own unique home visions a reality,” said the retailer in announcing its first-ever brick & mortar location.

The Wayfair store featured hundreds of products for the living and dining room to bedroom, kitchen and home office. The location also had a Custom Upholstery program to customize handcrafted furniture pieces across hundreds of colors and fabrics to match their individual style and budget.
