“Unfortunately, we have been in contact with Covid-19 and will be closed for today and until further notice. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. We will be testing every staff member and cleaning the restaurant from top to bottom. It is our mission to provide the best quality food & service in the safest environment. Chill is not the first restaurant in the area to close due to a positive coronavirus case. Ashland has had a handful.

In Massachusetts, if an employee, customer, or vendor of restaurant tests positive or is presumed to be positive for COVID-19, the restaurant must immediately shut down for at least 24 hours, cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with CDC guidelines before reopening.

Not all restaurant are up front and transparent about their closures, but the ones that have been seems to bounce back quicker with their customers, when they re-open after the cleaning.
