FRAMINGHAM –The following is a list of road construction projects in the City of Framingham including Framingham DPW, state projects, and utility work.
All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.
As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.

Beaver Street Bridge: Punch list items. Expect minor delays at times.
Bethany Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas main and services on Bethany Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.
Cedar Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue installing gas service lines on Cedar Street. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Grant Street Road and Sidewalk Rehabilitation: Sidewalk and road rehabilitation continues on Grant Street (between Arthur Street and Clinton Street). Final paving is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 22.
A detour will be in effect for Thursday’s paving operations. For the rest of the week, a two-way/one-way traffic pattern will be in effect at times. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
Hampden Road Water Main Replacement: The Water Division will continue demobilizing the water main replacement project on Hampden Road, Prindiville Avenue, and Concord Street. Expect minor delays at times.
Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Utility poles will be set, and electrical wires will continue to be transferred in preparation for the intersection improvements project. The City’s contractor will begin to mobilize. Expect minor delays at times.

Robertson Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will begin relaying gas main and services on Robertson Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.
Worcester Road/Rt.9 West Sewer Improvements: A City hired contractor will begin replacing sewer main and manholes near 95 Worcester Road/Rt.9 West. Lane closures will be in effect from the Natick town line to Caldor Road. Work will be conducted Sunday-Thursday, 8 PM – 5 AM.
Worcester Road Water and Sewer Improvement, Phase I – Eastbound
Surveying will be conducted on Worcester Road, Dinsmore Avenue, and Pierce Street. Expect minor delays.
