FRAMINGHAM – A woman, 78, was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham Monday afternoon, after she was hit by a vehicle.

Framingham Fire Engine 5 and Ambulance 1 responded to 47 Beacon Street at 12:45 p.m p.m. on August 31.

A car hit her backing up at low speed and knocked her to ground, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

She was complaining of shoulder pain, said the Chief.

Framingham Police are investigating.
