ASHLAND – The Town of Ashland’s firefighters and Animal Control rescued a baby deer today, August 17.

The emergency responders rescued a fawn stuck in a drainage pipe on Main Street.

The deer was removed without injury and brought to the Animal Control kennel where Animal Control Officer Walsh and Lt. Iarussi provided nourishment and assessed the fawn’s health condition, said Ashland Fire on social media.
