1 A heat advisory has been extended through 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 12.

The City of Framingham’s beaches closed for the season yesterday, Sunday August 9.

A resident has started a petition to open the beaches through Labor Day, especially with schools not resuming until Sept. 16. She has almost 300 signatures.

2. This is National Motorcycle Week.

4. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer will hold a ZOOM community hour today with the City Clerk Lisa Ferguson to discuss the upcoming election on September 1.
