FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham City Council voted 10-1 to support a 9-month apartment moratorium with a study for the City of Framingham.

This was the second vote on the issue and the vote was the same. Chair George P. King Jr. was the lone vote against the moratorium.

The Mayor, who is against the moratorium, did not attend the meeting. She never spoke before the Council during the process.

The order now goes to her. She has 10 days to sign or veto. If she vetoes the order, the City Council does have the 8 votes to override her veto.
