MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough is reporting 20 new cases of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 195 on April 15.

That is an 11.4% increase in the last 24 hours.

The City of Marlborough is reported 68 individual have recovered from COVID-19, for a total of 124 active cases.

The City of Marlborough also is reporting the third death related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts reported today, April 15, 1,755 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The Commonwealth announced 151 new deaths from COVID-19 today. That brings the total since the pandemic began to 1,108 deaths. The 151 deaths is the largest number of deaths in a 24-hour period since the pandemic began in the Commonwealth. (Editor’s Note: The state report does say the deaths it reports every 24 hours may not have happened in the last 24 hours.)

Middlesex County gas the most cases at 6,681

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, at 272 cases.

The United States now has the post confirmed cases worldwide at 619.607, as today, April 15.

Worldwide, there are more than 2 million confirmed cases.

In America, the Centers For Disease Control has reported 24,582 deaths as of noon today, April 15. This ranks the United States with the #1 country with deaths ahead of Italy.

There is no tested vaccine for COVID-19 in the United States.
