FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State’s Isabella Kondi scored a goal in the 43rd minute to lead the Rams to a 1-0 victory over Salem State in Little East Conference field hockey action Thursday evening at Maple Street Field.
Framingham State improves to 8-5 overall and 4-4 in LEC
Salem State sinks to 4-8 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the 43rd minute the Rams had a penalty corner that was sent in by Brandi Core. Kondi settled at the top of the arc and sent a strike toward the cage through traffic that tucked inside the right post for the games lone score.
- Angelina Barrett earned the win in goal for the Rams while Ashley Yebba took the loss for the Vikings making four saves.
- The Rams were led by Corlene Guenard’s three shots, all on net.
- Melanie Mason led the Vikings with three shots while Hannah Cochran registered the lone shot on net for Salem.
- The Rams outshot Salem 8-to-5 overall and have four penalty corners to the Vikings one.

The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 15, when they travel to Keene State for Little East play.
The Vikings host Castleton on Wednesday, October 19th at 6 p.m.
