How long in Business: 30 years

What are you doing differently since the COVID-19 pandemic began? On a normal month we would service over 400 fish tanks, however we shut down for 2 weeks to be sure we are all healthy and are now working on a limited basis for tanks that really need attention or are having problems.

Tell SOURCE readers something unique about your business: Since we deal with living animals we are considered essential but are doing everything we can to limit any human contact during this. Those that work are on a staggered schedule and only use their vans.

How does Fish Workscontribute to the fabric of your community? Fish Works donated the fish tank to the Ashland library down in the kids area and we keep it fully stocked and maintained every 3 weeks as an ongoing donation to the town and the library.

How can MetroWest residents Help Your Business? We are not a retail store but if anyone needs anything we might be able to deliver it on days we are working and once things are all clear we do have many many tanks of healthy fish if people want to set up a time to visit.

For someone unfamiliar with your business, what one item/service from your business would you recommend? The main focus of our business is helping clients figure out what they would like for an aquarium. We do everything from the design, working with architects and contractors to the installation of all sizes of standard and custom tanks. We then offer regular maintenance programs where we do everything the tank needs so the client can enjoy the aquarium without the work.
