FRAMINGHAM – The National Association of Letter Carriers’ 30th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive returns on May 14, after a two-year pause because of the pandemic.
On May 14, letter carriers across MetroWest will collect non-perishable food donations on their postal routes to support the food drive.
During the week of May 9, letter carriers will deliver a reminder postcard and bag to mailboxes.
Residents are asked to place non-perishables in a sturdy bag by their mailbox by 9 a.m. on May 14.

The following items are needed:
- Canned Soup
- Boxed Dinner Meals
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Breakfast Cereal
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Boxed Noodles – any variety
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Vegetables
- Personal Care Items (toilet paper, bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, etc.)
- Cleaning Supplies (laundry detergent, dish soap, all-purpose cleaner, etc.)
Please do not donate anything in a glass container.

Residents can also drop off their donations at any postal branch retail counter before the food drive.
The Food Bank has a goal of collecting 100,000 pounds of non-perishable food items.
All food will go to local food pantries.
