Dolores Ann (Courville) Zinck, 95, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, January 24, 2026 after a period of declining health.  Born in LaFayette, LA she was the daughter of the late Gaston & Elise (Meaux) Courville.

Dolores was raised and educated in Port Arthur, TX along with her 4 sisters, Bernice, Ruby, Hazel, and Gladys, and her brother Albert. She met her husband, Arthur in Orange, TX where she would often attend dances and won a jitterbug contest. Dancing always put a smile on her face.

Dolores worked at CVS until her retirement at the age of 78 and loved her job. Family has always been important to her, and she was always there to help family in whatever they needed. She cared for her youngest daughter, Elise who had multiple sclerosis for over 20 years, making sure she could do the things she wanted no matter how difficult it became.

Playing cards with her sisters, and crawfish boils at Ruby’s, and even a cruise, anything that meant spending time with her sisters brought her joy. Dolores enjoyed the television show Supernatural and loved ghost stories, and even had a few of her own. She kept busy and was very good at doing crossword puzzles. In her later years she found solace in time spent with family and with her dog, Colby.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Katherine Kirchdorfer & her husband Kevin of Millbury, her son Michael Zinck & his wife Denise of Medway, her grandchildren, Christopher, Brian and Shaun Willis of Framingham, Hannah Kirchdorfer and Laura Foley of Canton, Bonnie Zinck of Medway and Brandy McCartney of FL, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Dolores’ life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday morning February 10th from 9-10:30AM. Her Funeral Mass will follow in St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd. Framingham at 11 o’clock. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: National Multiple Sclerosis Society, https://www.nationalmssociety.org/
