FRAMINGHAM – Friday night, April 17, more than two dozen vehicles formed a parade at the Stop & Shop on Old Conn Path in Framingham to thank Megan Marquis, an assistant store manager.

Supermarket employees have been on the frontlines since this coronavirus pandemic began in Massachusetts in March.

The #clapbecausewecare parade was organized by Peter Marquis.

“Thank you Megan, Mike, and Scott and all the Stop & Shop associates for being there to supply the community with the essentials during this pandemic.”

“She is awesome and we thank her, and all of those working to keep things going during this crazy, scary time,” said one of the organizers Kim Gegear.
