FRAMINGHAM – A man broke into the REI store at 4 a.m. in the middle of a blizzard, according to the Framingham Police log.
Police received the breaking & entering alarm at 4:11 a.m. on Saturday, January 29 for the 375 Cochituate Road outdoor & sporting good retail store.
“We responded to an alarm and observed the front door glass was broken,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
“Video showed a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black vest enter the store and take several clothing items. The male left the scene in a white Kia sedan,” said Lt. Mickens.
The store is still checking its “inventory to figure out what was taken,” said police.
