1 There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Framingham-Natick Cochituate Rail Trail this morning. Lt. Governor Karyn Polito is expected to attend. Mayor Yvonne Spicer and at-large City Councilor Janet Leombruno will be in attendance too.

2. According to the Mayor’s publicly posted schedule, besides the MassDOT trails events in Natick, the Mayor will hold a community hour today at 5 p.m. with Parks & Recreation and will attend an Emerge event in Newton tonight.

3. Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker and the City of Framingham’s Chief Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Officer Dr. Maritsa Barros will speak in an event tonight as part of Framingham Reads Together.
