FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced today, April 28, that 21,610 individuals have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
That is roughly 3 out of every 10 residents in the City.
With about 75,000 individuals in the City of Framingham, that means 28.8% percent of the City is vaccinated against COVID-19.

The City of Framingham also announced 51,332 individuals in the City of Framingham have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. That is roughly 68.5% of the City’s residents.
The FDA has approved for emergency use a Moderna and a Pfizer vaccine that requires two doses.
At the end of February, the FDA approved for emergency use a single dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.

Individuals are fully vaccinated after 14 days from either the two-dose or the one-dose vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
Framingham is one of 20 communities where the Commonwealth is providing assistance to help with vaccine equity.
The City has a vaccine equity working group.
