Carlton Griffin Sr., 88, Retired from MD Both Industries After 50 Years

FRAMINGHAM – Carlton Griffin Sr. 88 of Framingham departed this life on December 26, 2020.

He was born March 24, 1932. Carlton was born in Walnut Grove Mississippi. He was one of 12 children. Born to Jack and Daisy Griffin.

Carlton met his sweetheart Lucy Gladys (Churchwell) Griffin in Stamford CT, and they married June 15, 1957.

His job moved him to Framingham Massachusetts, where he has been residing until his death. When he became a young man, he left home at a young age bound for Florida. He decided to leave with his cousin for Stamford, CT. later seeking employment at MD Both Industries in Ashland as a mixer for 50 years.

He was a member of Myrtle Baptist Church for many years. He was on the Usher Board and sang in the Men’s Choir.

Carlton is survived by their two loving sons, Carlton Griffin Jr. and Jeffrey Scot Griffin. He is survived by his sister Agatha Williams of Jackson Mississippi.

Carlton was predeceased by his wife Lucy Gladys (Churchwell) Griffin in June 2014.

Services will be held at a later date.
