1 It is still snowing.,

The National Weather Service out of Boston has issued a winter storm warning until this afternoon.

By storm’s end the region could see a foot of snow.

The National Weather Service had Natick with a foot of snow by 9 a.m. and Framingham with 11 inches by the same time.

Please stay off roads and let DPW do their job to clean them.

The City has declared a snow emergency. The Memorial Building & other municipal buildings are closed today.

Trash collection is delayed one day.

2. Framingham has increased from 8 cases per day around Labor Day to 80 cases per day per 100,000 people.

The Spicer administration said this week it does not plan to rollback restrictions like the cities of Boston, Newton, Somerville, Brockton, etc

A new free COVID testing site opened last Monday at Framingham State University’s parking lot on Franklin Street. It is drive-thru and by appointment only.

A new Framingham residents only, walk-up testing site will open at SMOC HQ on Friday.

All free testing sites are closed today.
