FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library and Framingham State University have teamed up for a presentation on the Presidential election on Thursday night, as part of its Lifelong Learning Lecture Series.

What Happened? The Presidential Election in Perspective will take place on Thursday, November 5 at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

David Smailes, Associate Professor of Political Science at Framingham State University will lead the free presentation.

This year has been unlike any other in America, and the presidential election we have just witnessed has been like no other as well.

After the presentation, there will be a discussion on the election that just concluded by looking back on the nomination process by the two major parties as well as third-party candidates, and some of the reasons for the outcome of the election. Looking forward, discussion will also include what might come next in American political life.
