Traffic Alert: Framingham Road Construction First Week of November 2020

FRAMINGHAM –The following is a list of road construction projects in the City of Framingham including Framingham DPW, state projects, and utility work.

All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.

As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.

Work is weather permitting.

Beaver Street Bridge: Punch list items. Expect minor delays at times.

Bethany Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas main and services on Bethany Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Cedar Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue installing gas service lines on Cedar Street. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Eames and Pratt Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will begin installing gas service lines on Eames and Pratt Streets. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.

Eversource Gas Corrosion Prevention: Eversource Gas will continue installing corrosion prevention measures at various locations. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Grant Street Road and Sidewalk Rehabilitation: Punch list items continue to be addressed. Expect minor delays at times. 

Hampden, Hillcrest, and Berskshire Roads Water Main Replacement: Final trench paving is schedule for Hampden, Hillcrest, and Berkshire Roads. Expect minor delays at times.

Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Utility poles will be set, and electrical wires will continue to be transferred in preparation for the intersection improvements project. The City’s contractor will continue to prepare the site for the intersection improvements project and conduct test pits. Expect minor delays at times.

Robertson Road Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas services on Robertson Road. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect minor delays.
