Sister Joanne Solari, CSJ (Sister Francis Anne), in her 69th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Friday,
April 25, 2025. Devoted daughter of the late Francis (Frank) and Anna (Levereone) Solari, and beloved sister of her late brothers, Donald (Don), Joseph and Robert Solari. Sister Joanne is survived by her cherished niece, nephews, along with their families, and her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Bridget School, Framingham; Immaculate Conception School, Marlboro, St. John School, Swampscott; St. Clement School, Somerville; and St. Angela School, Mattapan. Sister Joanne also served as principal at St. John School, Boston North End and St. Benedict Little Flower School, Somerville.
Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Thursday, May 8, 2025, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, MA. Arrangements by Norton, McKinney and Lawler Funeral Home, Framingham.
