John Mark Wagner, 64, a resident of Framingham, died Saturday, December 20, 2025 after a lengthy hospitalization due to post surgical complications. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late John J. & Ann Marie (Sullivan) Wagner, and the beloved husband of Kari L. (Spaulding) Wagner.

Mark was raised in Albany, NY and attended St. Pius, Bishop Maginn, and Albany High School. He was a graduate of Siena College. No stranger to hard work Mark began working at a young age at the YMCA where he held a variety of roles. He bartended and cooked over the years for many local Albany establishments, during which he made many lasting friendships. His career was in Property Management, Retail, and most recently as the Director of Tenant Construction at WS Development.

Mark had a love of the ocean and marine life. He was an avid fisherman and boatsman. Bliss came in the form of summers spent on Cape Cod with his wife and children. Cooking and grilling were among his passions, along with his time living in Plymouth spending time on his boat or at the beach.

Mark enjoyed sports, especially the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Canons. He was an avid reader and read many newspapers whenever he had a free moment. More than anything, Mark will be remembered for being an amazing father, devoted husband, and a loyal friend. His pride and joy were undoubtedly his children, Hannah and Jack. He spent time supporting them in everything that they did including coaching lacrosse and always being an unconditional supporter of their educational and extracurricular endeavors.

Along with his wife Kari, Mark is survived by his children, Hannah Luehrs and John Charles “Jack” Wagner, his brother Matt & his fiancé Stephanie, his sisters, Beth Derusso & her husband Mark, and Sue Wagner & her husband Mike Gleason, and many nieces and nephews.
