FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will hold a District 8 meeting at Loring Arena on Thursday, February 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
In 2024, the Mayor announced his plan to hold meetings in all nine of the City’s Districts. During his State of the City address last month, he revealed plans to repeat that in 2025, with District 8 scheduled to be the inaugural meeting of the year.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the residents who shared their voices during the nine district meetings held in 2024. I greatly appreciate direct feedback from individuals. As a result, I have decided to revisit all nine City Districts in 2025 to hear the issues and concerns within each neighborhood,” remarked Mayor Sisitsky.
Mayor Sisitsky has invited District 8 School Committee member Jessica Barnhill, who chairs the School Committee, and District 8 City Councilor Leslie White Harvey to his meeting.
The Mayor will also be bringing a representative from several divisions, including Police, Planning, DPW, and Parks & Recreation to his meeting.
Attendees are encouraged to express their concerns, issues, and ideas.
“Your participation is invaluable in shaping the future of Framingham, and I am committed to ensuring that your voices continue to guide our city’s development. By holding these meetings, I aim to foster a stronger sense of community and collaboration among residents and city officials,” said Mayor Sisitsky.
The meeting will be held on the second floor of Loring Arena from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
