MetroWest Medical Center recognizes National Radiologic Technology Week–the vital work of radiologic technicians. It is celebrated November 3-9 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895. The celebration calls attention to the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and health care safety. We appreciate our radiologic techs for providing diagnoses for our patients in a skilled and compassionate manner.
