MetroWest Medical Center is pleased to share that Neil Wallis, Executive Director, has been promoted to Associate Administrator. In his new role, Wallis will develop management objectives and policies for various operational departments and monitor results and interpret objectives, policies, and procedures. He will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of assigned departments, including laboratory services, pharmacy, respiratory, radiology, food & nutrition, and community aspects, with other departments within and outside the hospital. Resolving problems with department heads concerning the use of resources and encouraging open lines of communication between employee groups, medical personnel, and patients and their family members will also be important aspects of Wallis’s role. He will report directly to the CEO John Whitlock.
Previously, Wallis was the Executive Director of pharmacy, respiratory, and outpatient services, and market director of Wound Care Center. He has a record of success and a deep understanding of our industry, and brings valuable experience to the position that aligns perfectly with our vision and goals.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking or backpacking through new areas and spending time with his 11-month-old daughter and wife.
