Barbara L. (Spinazzola) Grandoni, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024. Born in Natick, she graduated from Natick HS in 1947 and lived most of her life in Framingham. She was the beloved wife of the late Edo Grandoni for 67 years. She was the devoted mother of Richard Grandoni (Diana O’Loane,) of Beverly MA, and Jerry Grandoni of Ashland, MA. Barbara is also survived by her 4 outstanding grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Christina (Gillian) of Bradford MA, Diana of Portland ME, Maria (Hunter) of Fitchburg, WI, and Alison of Brooklyn NY, as well as many loving and devoted nephews and nieces.

“Barbie” loved her home on Cove Ave and her “cottage” in Eastham on Cape Cod where she spent many summers walking the beach, swimming in the bay and spending hours in the yard doing arts and crafts with her granddaughters. She was an amazing chef and she loved experimenting with new recipes and creating delicious feasts for the family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always quick with a joke or a funny old song. Barbie was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan but more than anything else she enjoyed gathering with the family for laughter and fun. Her family, and their accomplishments were her greatest pride and joy. Grammy will be greatly missed but her spirit lives on in all of us.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 4-7PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
