Jean M. Barnicle, 74, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away on April 7, 2024, in Framingham, MA after a period of declining health.

Born in Waltham, she was the beloved daughter of the late Philip J. and Anne M. (Cusack) Barnicle.

Jean dedicated many years of her life to healthcare, serving as a compassionate nurse’s aide. Her commitment to caring for others left a lasting impact on those she encountered.

A true sports enthusiast, Jean found joy in cheering on all New England Teams, with a special passion for the Boston Bruins. She also found solace in the simple pleasures of life, including bird watching especially cardinals and spending time with family on the beaches of Cape Cod.

Jean is survived by her sisters, Gail A. (Ron) Edgett of Medway, MA and Kathleen (Gary) Hayden of Lake Placid, NY. She is also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Barnicle, who she cherished.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend a time of visitation at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM, followed by a service at 3 PM at the funeral home.
