Meet Erin Truman, MS, RN, Associate Chief Nursing Officer who provides day-to-day nursing support at MetroWest Medical Center (MWMC). Erin is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20-years of experience in nursing leadership roles having led medical surgical and critical care, orthopedics, neurosciences and surgical services programs.
She recently joined the MWMC team coming to us from Saint Vincent Hospital where she was Associate Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to Saint Vincent, Erin worked at Hartford Healthcare as the Director of Patient Care Services.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management from Salve Regina University. Erin is currently involved in doctoral studies at Rhode Island College. In addition to her nursing career, Erin served 10 years in the US Army.
