Framingham Baseball Makes History Tonight!

Hello Framingham! If you were not aware, the Framingham Baseball League (FBL) officially joined the national Little League organization this year. What does this mean? It’s a BIG deal because it means that Framingham is now able to enter a team in the Little League World Series tournament that culminates every year in Williamsport, PA! This will be the first ever team from Framingham to enter the LLWS tournament!

FBL coaches and players voted for the top twelve players that are 12-years-old (or turning 12), to represent Framingham as a team in the LLWS tournament. As you can imagine, these 12 players and the selected coaches are extremely honored and excited to be part of the team and represent Framingham!

The team is guaranteed to play a minimum of five District games, and then it’s all about winning to continue through the tournament. The schedule of the five guaranteed games is listed below. Framingham is not hosting any games this tournament year but hope to in future tournaments. Note that for all games, home/away teams are determined by a coin flip prior to the game regardless of field location.

We encourage everyone to come to the games and support your team! Win or lose, history has been made and an amazing opportunity established for future Framingham baseball players!
