HOLLISTON – The Framingham High softball team travelled to Holliston on Friday, April 28, and came home with a win.

The Flyers defeated the Panthers 7-2.

Framingham is now 7-4 overall and 2-3 in the Bay State Conference.

Senior Johnna Maloney pitched the complete game giving up 5 hits and striking out five, said her head coach.

She was also 1-4 at the plate with 2RBIs.

Senior centerfielder Julia Matz went 2-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Senior shortstop Amber Welch was 1-3 with 3 runs scored.

Senior designated hitter Lily Novak went 3-4 with 2RBI.

Flyers travel to Braintree on Monday, May 1 for a Bay State Conference game.
