FRAMINGHAM – Stephen Brown Atwood, 80, of Framingham, former longtime resident of Mendon, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 after a period of declining health.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Lawrance and Dorothy (Aldrich) Atwood.

Stephen was a gifted craftsman who owned and operated Stephen Atwood Carpentry.

He enjoyed participating in events at the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham and was a member of Connect Community Church.

Atwood is survived by three children; Pamela Curtis and her husband David of Framingham, Tracy DeMarco and her husband Randy Laughner of Cape Coral, Fl, and Stephen C. Atwood of NY, and one sister, Linda Wood and her husband Lannie of Pittsfield, NH.  He was a proud Papa of two grandchildren, Brendon and Samantha Curtis.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 6 at 10 a.m. in Connect Community Church, 80 Beacon Street in Framingham, MA 01701.

In lieu of flowers donations in Stephen’s name may be made to the Callahan Senior Center, 535 Union Ave, Framingham, MA 01702.
