FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls softball team hosted Wellesley High on Monday, and rallied in the seventh in to earn their sixth win of the season.

The Flyers won 7-6.

Framingham is now 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the BayState Conference.

The Flyers rallied from 2 runs down in the bottom of the 7th inning to get the walk-off win, said Head coach Erin Powers.

Senior Johnna Maloney pitched the complete game, giving up 9 hits with 3 strikeouts, and 3 earned runs.

Senior catcher Lily Novak went 1-2 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Senior shortstop Amber Welch went 1-4 with a run scored to start the rally in the bottom of the 7th.

Senior first base Jill Maloney went 1-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI, also scoring the winning run.

Senior Rightfielder Gigi Patruno scored a run. 

The Flyers host Walpole on Wednesday, April 26.
