NATICK – The MBTA is continuing to work on the Natick Center Commuter Rail Station, with the Station remaining open during construction.

Due to upcoming construction activities and demolition work, North Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from April 21-23 while the contractor removes and dismantles the pedestrian bridge.

The closure of North Avenue is necessary to ensure the safety of residents during the demolition. This work is essential to allow for the construction of the new pedestrian bridge. An alternative route is available.

The temporary entrances on Washington Street will remain open through the end of the year.

When complete, the new station will include: a new pedestrian bridge, 2 new elevators, 2 accessible ramps, 6 stairways, new platforms, and bicycle parking.
