FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham man was arrested by Framingham Police yesterday morning, April 18, for failure to register as a sex offender.

Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens said the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board notified Framingham Police he was “that he was “in violation” and Framingham Police were able to locate him at the Framingham address below.

Police arrested Luis Hernandez Torres, 36, of 143 Arlington Street of Framingham.

He was arrested at his residence at 11:30 a.m.

He was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

He has not been classified yet as either a level 2 or level 3 sex offender.

No other information was released by police.
