FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police investigated the theft of a mountain bike from the main Framingham Library, and have identified a suspect, said the Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The theft was reported yesterday, April 6 at 11:25 a.m. at 49 Lexington Street.

The mountain bike, worth an estimated $100 was taken, said Lt. Mickens.

The bike was not locked, said the Police spokesperson.

“Suspect was identified and will be summonsed” to court, said Lt. Mickens.

Police remind citizens to lock their bikes in public places.
