FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High students walked out at noon today, April 5, as part of a national walkout across America to protest gun violence inside schools.

Students Demand Action volunteers organized school walkouts in Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Nebraska, South Carolina, Texas , and Massachusetts to demand that lawmakers meet this moment with urgency and instead pass common sense policies to save lives.

At Framingham High, today’s protest was organized by sophomore Tessa McGarry.

A couple hundred students protested and did chants at Winch Field for about 30 minutes.

Several Boston television stations were in attendance along with digital news outlet SOURCE.
