FRAMINGHAM- Gerard P. “Jerry” Brennan, 85, a longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully in the comfort of his family on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester. 

He was the devoted husband of 63 years to Ann M. (Cook) Brennan of Framingham

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Martin J. and Mary J. (Leary) Brennan.

Jerry had a long career working in sales for Cummins Diesel for 45 years.

He was a member of the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham where he loved to bowl and play Bocci.  He also enjoyed freshwater fishing.

Besides his wife, Ann, Jerry is survived by his children, Sheila Brennan and her spouse, Mike, Gerard Brennan, Jr. and Thomas Brennan and his spouse, Gio.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew, Kristen, Brian, Marissa and his great granddaughter, Julianna; his siblings, Mary Carroll, Margaret Commane, Madeline McKay, Barbara Long and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was the brother of the late Claudia DeMarco, Patricia Brown, and Thomas Brennan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his visiting hours on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham and again on Tuesday morning from 9 – 9:30 at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road, Rt. 9 at Framingham Centre.

Burial will take place privately at a later date.
