FRAMINGHAM _ The City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky met with the newly-appointed Brazilian Ambassador to Boston Santiago Irazábal Mourão, his wife Ms. Deborah Seixas, and Larissa Schaider, one of his assistants at the Consulado-Geral do Brasil em Boston, announced the City this morning, April 5.

“The meeting allowed for a productive discussion on issues that are important to the Brazilian community in Framingham, such as immigration and economic development. Given that Framingham is home to one of the largest Brazilian communities in the United States, this meeting was a critical step in strengthening the bond between the community and local government,” said the City of Framingham. “The resulting dialogue will help ensure that the city’s decisions and policies reflect the diverse perspectives and interests of its residents.”
