Framingham Police Arrest Man at Stop & Shop

FRAMINGHAM _ Framingham Police arrested a man at Stop & Shop at Old Conn Path on Sunday.

The supermarket called Police at 5:28 p.m for a shoplifter.

Police arrested Christopher Ries, 54, of 6 Greenview Street of Framingham.

he was charged with shoplifting by asportation, and multiple warrants.

The man “stole a carriage full of groceries,” said the Police spokesperson.

“He also had warrants out of Framingham for receiving stolen property and motor vehicle charges, as well as warrants out of Millbury and Natick,” said Lt. Rachel Mickens.
