NATICK – Barbara J. (Squire) Irvine passed peacefully March 28, 2023, and is reunited with her husband William (Scotty) J. Irvine.

She was born in Boston Oct. 20, 1930, and lived most of her life in Natick.

Daughter of the late Wallace and Clara Squire. The eldest of 4 siblings, she now joins brothers Jack and Bob leaving behind brother Chuck Squire and his wife Marge, two daughters Corinne Tripp and Scooter (Susan) Joyce and many nieces and nephews.

She was a 70-year member of the Aurora Chapter #9 OES. She loved barbershop music and was a longtime member of the Sweet Adelines Marlboro Chapter and Dulcetones Quartet, where they competed in several regional and international competitions. After retiring from IDC Research in 2007, where she worked as a receptionist for over 10 years, she volunteered at the Natick Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bridge and never missed an episode of Jeopardy.

There will be no calling hours.

A gathering will be held at Dell Park Cemetery 163 Pond Street in Natick on April 13 at 11 a.m., all are welcome. 

Arrangements are by the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home in Natick.
