FRAMINGHAM – The Brazilian-American Center (BRACE), a nonprofit organization is advertising for an office assistant.

Created 2012 to assist all immigrants regardless of nationality, race, gender or religion, while preserving the values and cultural identity of each person, BRACE is located at St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham.

The office assistant position is full time.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/abilities:

  • Writing ability;
  • Social media skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • A friendly and confident phone manner;
  • Positive and public-oriented attitude;
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize;
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish is a plus.

Position Description:

  • Develop potential social media activities and strategies;
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the staff;
  • Compose, type, screen, and/or sort mail, correspondence, e-mails, and

phone calls in Portuguese;

  • Monday to Friday from 1pm to 9pm;
  • Salary to be negotiated.
