Framingham DPW To Replace Water Mains on Lindsay & George Streets

FRAMINGHAM- The Framingham DPW will begin water main replacement on Lindsay Street and George Street in April.

Work will be on Lindsay and George streets as well as both intersections of Hollis Street and the intersection of Thayer Street.

The main needs to be replaced to “improve fire flow and water quality as well as reduce the risk of failures and interruptions in water service to the residents of the area,” according to Framingham DPW.

The detour will be on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
